Bank Acct. + $200 and some other randoms
Finally took my IPPT for my 3rd time already today. And I got silver again, as usual, haha but with an improved 2.4km timing!! Amazing, considering that I have never really trained ever since returning from exchange.
What was different from my usual IPPT was that I took it at Bedok Camp II at Upper East Coast Road this time round since I left from home. Used to take it at Maju Camp in Clementi since I used to go from Hall in the past.
Bumped into Christopher (Han) who was taking the test too. After catching up with him about life, I realised he does have the same childhood dream as I do... to fly for Singapore Airlines, and he is already planning to go apply for it! I wonder if I ever will make it there. Many people dared to pursue their dreams and passion, especially after I watched The UnXpected band performing twice already and looking at the performers who had so much passion for music and are doing quite well too.
Met someone else too, Terence (Lim Jun Xian). For those who don't know him, he's M3 from the 2007 Hall 12 Gala Grandeur Dinner & Dance. Surprised that I saw him there, cos I always thought that once we ORD, PTIs don't have to perform such annual IPPT duties anymore.
Bedok Camp II was very lively today, with many people there for different purposes. There were people like me going for the Non-ICT IPPT, there was the Commando ICT IPPT (I was so stressed for a moment cos I thought they were taking the test with me, fortunately they weren't), and then there were many many many small kids!! They were there for NDP rehearsal and the rehearsal was taking place concurrently with the 2.4km run at the running track! Luckily I finished my run before they started, pity those who took the 2.4km with subsequent batches. I watched the rehearsal for a while, and really pity those kids who have to keep re-doing the performance. Reminds me of my NDP days too 4 years ago. Time really flies.
Anyway congrats to Anthony who was taking IPPT at Maju Camp today too... and good luck to Adrian, Victor, and Colin who would be taking it later in the evening at Khatib Camp!
Enough of IPPT and Bedok Camp :) I was at T3 last week again to send off my grandmother and aunt who were leaving for Melbourne to look for my uncle & family.
I saw the two kids sleeping on the floor and I couldn't resist taking a shot of it! A family of 4 Australians on transit going towards Germany. The two kids were soooo tired that they just dozed off lying on the floor there. And the mum just went, "Yes, they're angels..... only when they're asleep." Haha... Adorable (the kids, not the mum =.=)
I don't know how to end off this entry, so I shall end it with a song video.
