Exams... and everything that comes (and ends) with it... Part II
Finally, my 3rd year in NTU is over. I don't know if you see the word "finally" as being a feeling of relieveness or one of trist. I guess it is more or less, a mix of both. Why do I say so, I guess slowly this post will tell.
*Finally repairing the aircon*
*Why face the butt at me??*
*I see that Leon & Cyndi aren't big fans of vegetables*
*Bird's birthday cake made me sleepy after that.. urgh*
My happiest night during this whole month was the night when Freddo brought back alot of BBQ food from his family gathering! All of us looked like we were hungry ghosts, and the herbal chicken was really tasty! That has to be my favouritest already out of all the food on the table. Why is it favouritest? Because all are my favourite, and favouritest is more favourite than favourite. HAHA... Ok not funny.
*See that herbal cheeken at the right side, nice*
*Even watermelons tasted nice that night*
*Everyone loves supper*
Was walking towards Hall 12 on Friday morning when I saw 3 separate groups of Yr 1s and 2s, ready for their final paper on that day. Wu Juan came out with a group of 3 people and was busy saying hi to me and crapping about something else and didn't notice the gap in the walkway ahead! I turned away and suddenly "AHHH!!" haha... she's gonna hate me forever for that because she says that she fell into the gap as she was talking to me, and although I didn't witness her falling, all the other Yr1s out at the walkway saw it! And I got scolded again when I asked her to fall again to let me see. Bah.
Anyway, why is this post a Part II? Haha, simple, cos there was a first part already. Okay lame.
So after my first week of the examinations, which was Hell Week, the study period for my last 2 papers of the semester was much more relaxed (except for the day just before the paper of course). My last 2 papers were "NMR" and "Pharmacology", both of which are considered the only modules that I like relatively more out of the 5 modules that I had to take this semester. But still, I learnt a lot of things from all 5 modules, so I should not complain that much lah huh.
I was quite happy that the Pharmacology paper was not as difficult as expected. Recalling back, I was still worrying that I would not be able to memorised all 150 (it is this much right?) of drug names (no, you cannot find these names in an English dictionary) together with their functions, uses, and their side-effects. Really makes me wonder sometimes how we should really create a good balanced system in our bodies when something goes wrong. But I should confess that I felt extreme euphoria when I realised a day and a half before my paper that I could recall almost 90% without looking at the notes, because I seriously never ever thought I could do it. So I guess this paper is the only one that I felt happy after the exam.
Okay, too much words than expected for this entry liao... Let's look at some pictures :) Some like the first one is really "bo liao".

While studying for NMR on Wednesday, Ant suddenly appeared beside my side, giving me a shock! For a moment, there were cold chills down my spine, suddenly got someone standing beside me like that. He just finished his Stem Cells paper that afternoon, and decided to come by and play with my handphone because he is considering buying it since the price of it dropped to $68. My goodness, $68 for K810i.... BUY!! Haha... And yes, I think by the time this entry is up, he should have gotten his new phone already.
Very funny things happen during the final week of the examinations as well... First I decided to vandalise something...
Michelle was another funny person. She is one who is afraid of the dark and ghosts, so it was really easy to scare her you see... so during dinner we decided to talk about hostel ghosts. And Michelle literally threw her spoon on her plate cos she was so frightened (and she had to sleep alone that night w/o her roomie) haha.
Xiaopang was another joker. Want to eat supper but was afraid Jing Ying would find out. Diaoz.... But then when he ate, he totally enjoyed eating... so engrossed in his food and he kept praising the food while eating!
Hongda, whose index number for his Wireless module was "444" HAHA... and the guys decided to play a prank on him of course! They made a wallpaper for his laptop and it really covered his own screen.
Some of the yummy stuffs that kept me going during the study period...
*Jarren's Starburst*
*It's really chewy & yummy*
*I am not a big fan of this but it did keep me awake*
*Freddo Choco from Fred... I loved this when I was young*
*Shaved ice champagne grape at Canteen 2*

Yeah, so after this exams, the 3rd year NBS and the other final year students are all leaving - my favourite lotus bun head-buttdy-little eunuch Emily and Xiumei who always jumps out of her seat, literally, whenever one of us guys decide to walk into her room quietly to scare her and the others like Yew Hong, Kyon, Alvin, Hongda (the PBK), Vinz (the Pussy), Freddo (my food source), Leon (stop pointing ur middle finger at me), Colin (no more clown fishes to look at), Jarren, Kevin (always saying Chao Cheese Pie). But hey guys, all the best to your future endeavours! Keep in touch yeah!
*Sheng An, who isn't going to stay in hall next year*
*Xiumei*
*Yeo Si Boon... haha okay, Emily*
*Colin*
And to my SBS frens, we have all worked hard this semester! With all the mad rushing for the 3 or 4 crazy projects and having not enough time to properly revise for the first 3 papers, we have all made it through! So do enjoy your holidays and don't just spend too much time working be it in the lab or outside. We don't have much chance to enjoy our undergraduate days too hehe!
