what makes my day

it had been a really super tiring day. as tiring as the usual working days la, but in a different way. the weekdays are so boring cos there's so little customers tat u get so tired of being in that place and u feel very lethargic. it's like u're just there to let cobwebs grow on you (and u can become spiderman), really like spiderman (失败的 man) lor. u know? like those unsuccessful man, just rot on his couch the whole day and let cobwebs grow on him.

but today, it was tiring cos customers were flooding into Gain City non-stop and i kinda lost count of how much stuffs we sold today. got so busy entertaining all the customers tat by dinner time, i'm totally drained of all my energy.

sometimes a customer may come visit your booth, and you spend time & effort trying to persuade her that your product is the one that he/she should buy instead of your competitors', and after that they just leave the place (for wadeva reasons). den they return to you after a couple of hours telling you that "ok i want your product." this kind of feeling is good. BUT the most important thing is that it makes your day when customers actually tell you, "i came back to you because i like your service, even though your best price may exceed other that of other places by about $20."

yupz, this customer of mine today did just that. she listened to me for about 20 mins, and left for somewhere else, i guess her husband's friend's shop to compare prices for LCD TV and washing machine. in the end, she ordered the washing machine from the friend's shop, but came back all the way to look for me to tell me, "ok i want your LCD TV because i like your service." it really makes your day, no matter what other irritating stuffs have happened. how many promoters actually get this kind of comment from their customers? it's not the amount of sales that you can close that matters seriously, even though i agree it's somehow important too, or else u'll just get sacked!

why i'm saying all this is because i got so irritated that i feel that we, as temp promoters, just don't get recognised for our efforts. those people only think that their full time promoters can make it while we can't. so disgusted. especially that bleddy leon ng, who only knows how to say that we're not good and only knows how to ask us to make sure that all the flyers are given out. i'm not going to ensure that happens =) he can bring those flyers back, burn them himself and drink it down!

shall not let such a person spoil my good mood =)

on a good note, the next 3 working days are public holidays!!! yay.. double pay!! mwahaha.... i wonder wad's gg to happen tomorrow... are we going to watch fireworks? or are we going home after work? i heard that east coast park allows us to watch fireworks fired from the boats there! the boats will sound their horn and display fireworks. wonder how nice it would be.

was i too evil?

arh... the day didn't start off good again. that freak just snatched my customer away from me right in front of my eyes. wad the hell. he's such an ingrate, especially when i let him get the points for closing the deal yesterday for that expensive LCD TV. i was just fuming mad even though the wife kept apologizing to me cos her husband got swayed by the free gifts the other model was providing. like c'mon, free gifts vs quality.... haiz. so i just complained and the branch manager heard of it oredi.

but then, after awhile i think i feel very bad. that gain city staff is like 50 yrs old, has a family to feed, etc etc while i'm just a temp promoter. mebbe i should have just let him have the deal today... BUT he could have signaled to me! why did he have to make the whole situation so awkward? and that customer is like buying 2 sets of LCDs? i think i'm having mixed feelings, sounds like something siew hoon would say -___-" HAHA

anyway we totally had no new DVDs to watch today. ended up re-playing Jurassic Park 3 and then we also watched Disney's "Twice in a Christmas" i think that's the title, i can't remember. it features Mickey & Minnie, Donald, Daisy & 3 cute nephews, Goofy & Pluto etc.. very 童年. haha

alright, 4 more days of work left =) somehow i think i'm gonna miss working, but i dun mind not working. this job has made me stand till i'm so scared of standing now. i dread the start of the next semester too =(

exam results out ~~~

the day started off very suckily for me.

checked my examination results, which were released this morning, and i am seriously not really satisfied with a couple of the grades to be frank. i'm so gonna appeal. this is so infuriating. but first, i must go think of the reason i should give for appealing =)

afterwhich, it started to rain heavily non-stop. the heavens must be crying for me after i checked my results haha. yeah, but actually the heavy rain meant that there'd be even lesser customer than expected on such a weekday.

but i'm still very glad the customer came back to me for her LCD TV, which costs a whopping $7,178. my goodness. can u imagine, the other promoters were like looking at me and i think they were just plain jealous hehe.

the working world is just so disgusting lah, not that i only know it now but then, i just wanna say it out again haha. the guy who opened the receipt for my customer was so happy (cos they go by some sort of points system and they get points for selling goods). i couldn't open the receipt myself cos i'm not a Gain City staff. so after that, he was like so friend friend with me, my goodness. and another female staff came to tell us, "hey next time got sales ask me to close for you, i treat u coffee." eeyer...

later in the day, another T10 was sold, followed by 2 sets of the same package comprising a 32" LCD and a Home Theatre System.

so i guess Sony emerged the winner for the amount of sales once again today =)

anyway i've been seeing lots of my friends coming to my workplace to get their electrical appliances. so surprising haha. first was my army friend, wei ding. second was leon & cyndi from hall 12 earlier this evening.

oh oh oh!!! 1 more thing, i just learnt how to use the Slide Show function on the T50 camera today, and it's damn nice. After I editted some of the photos i took, I played them on the slide show function with the music in the camera, it's damn nice!! So people, if you guys wanna buy a digital camera now, COME TO AMK GAIN CITY AND LOOK FOR ME!!! BUY T50!!! it's really worth it. =)

another boring day

yay, results are coming out tomorrow. ok i may sound mad to be so happy about something like that, but well, at least it's coming out finally, and i don't have to keep thinking if i've done well or not. it's so headache-ful.

it's another no-customers-day today, except for one who is interested in the 46" X Series LCD!! that's like one of the best LCDs on the market now. and i think she's coming back to look for me tomorrow... good good good....

oh and when u get bored at work, u start playing with the digital cameras there on display. and it's quite fun to play with them. especially the T50, which allows you to use this Paint function to edit your photos.

and one of the best things u can lay your hands on is a Sony PSP!! one of the promoters there, wen bin, has it! but too bad, today is his last day at work and he's like flying off to NZ for a 3-day tour tml nite. but still, it's great to get to play Naruto on his PSP today...

it has been a super duper boring day at work, but somehow time passed very quickly. so dreadful lah, time is flying too fast for my liking.

anyway the permanent Sony promoter, Jonathan, came back from his reservist today to help us out. He's a fireman... diAoz... but oso not much use lah. all he did was just to help make our booth look slightly better, talk cock with us and the staffs there and nothing much since there ain't many customers today.

anyway, this has to be one of the best period to do this kind of temp promoter job. 4 public holidays!! my double pay is going to be like alot lah... christmas, hari raya haji, new year day, and the public holiday on 2nd Jan (because haji falls on sunday, hence monday is supposed to be a public holiday too, but since monday is new year day, the public holiday is carried forward to 2nd Jan) haha!! good right?

xmas day is a good day

merry xmas everyone!!! there goes my xmas'06 as i spent the day working and working and working. but 皇天不负苦心人, today i closed many many deals and i'm feeling so happy for myself. at least the other promoters will not think that we're not able to sell any LCD TVs at all mwahaha.

seriously, today has to be one of the best days so far ever since i started work. my customers are so good to me.

first, there's this Mr. Yap who came on the 23rd to see see look look, and promised me that he'd be back to buy his Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV as he needed to go home to check out whether his old TV meets our trade-in requirement or not. True enough, he came back today! the best thing is that he actually called me first to make sure i am working today. both times, he came with his this other fren who doesn't fail to ka jiao me... whole day making fun of me... i vv fun to play with meh? -___- and after the deal is closed, we had a chat for quite some time, and i told him he looked like my 2nd uncle. the thing that made me nearly faint was that he thinks i look like his son. my goodness.

anyway it's good to know that he liked my service and his fren says he's gonna recommend his friends to me!! good good....

secondly, there's this Mr. Ku who came and listened to me talk. he's damn 爽快, after a while, he said "okay, gimme one set" i wasted no time in closing that deal man haha! and his son looks like 16 when he's actually 23? studying for his Masters in War Studies in the UK!! omigod. regular armour officer.

thirdly, this couple, Mr and Mrs Ngai, who bought a new house recently and wants to buy a new LCD TV. i really psychoed the guy until he's oredi really going to buy from me straight away, until he suddenly somehow dun feel like buying or wad. left me with no choice but to 出 the ultimate phrase, "just for today, we're having a $100 discount for this particular model sir and this discount is only given by Gain City, not anywhere else". haiz i din really wanna use this phrase la.. but to attract him, i had no choice.

i had another customer who came back to purchase the Sony DVD recorder, even though i didn't manage to serve him but it's still good =) another customer who keeps his promise =)

and there was this bangladeshi Gain City worker who wants to purchase a digital camera! and he has staff price. but i had to teach him how to operate the camera.... faints... but nvm lah, at least i teach something to someone =) feels like being a mentor haha even though i din really teach that well la. but he wasn't vv interested in listening anyway.. so wadeva la.

some staffs in Gain City are just plain irritating, they pretend to be friends with you, den they do weird things behind ur back. but nvm, at least we're on good terms with the cashier! can get wadeva receipts and invoices for Sony products sold from them instead.

嗨，真是头痛。。。 好不容易找到一份还算不错的工作，却又被经纪人给耍了。真是气死人了。

今天心情其实是很好的，因为今天的收获还算不错，明天又有至少三个顾客会回来找我，他们还拿住我的名片，不知道明天他们找不到我，会怎样。

经纪人也真是的。把我的朋友气成这个样子。

不知道接下来几天要做什么好呢? 圣诞节也将来临了。。。 可是又不知道要怎么过今年的圣诞节。。。有没有人相约我出门呢? 可是, 去哪里好呢? 有没有钱花。。。 我想看电影。。。 Nights of the Museum。

我现在也不懂要说什么了。。。所以呢, 我该就此搁笔了。。。 大家晚安。=)

how in the world did my blog counter hit the 3000+++ value within such a short period of time? like wow... within less than a month, the counter value underwent a 3-fold increase? hmm...

anyway sometimes i think i just ask for trouble myself. haa. for no reason, i had to go ask a question and was given some hope. but it always happens, the hope would be dashed immediately. haahaa oh well... i have nothing to say =) just gotta live with it.

anyway Heaven is kind to me today. i managed to go for my morning swim but it was shortly afterwards that i realised the water was too cold for my liking and on top of that, the guy who sprays that insecticide thingy came and spppprrraayyyyyyyyy that smoky thing and the pool suddenly became like Genting Highlands. faInts. so i just got out of that place without any second thoughts. i wonder how i'm gonna compete in IHG, feel so unfit..zzz.

oh no, the dark clouds are coming back... gotta get out of my hse before the cats & dogs come down from the sky again -_- ciaoz

wad's wrong....?

how people around me acts made me start thinking about many things again...

firstly, some people don't understand that some things are meant to be kept secret, and they gotta dig every single shit out of you.

secondly, some people just come and irritate you for no reason, especially when you're not really in the best of moods.

thirdly, some people just come and say things just to make you feel guilty, like as if they themselves have done nothing wrong ever before. even when it's not your fault, they could come up with some things just to make you feel bad.

fourthly, some people just come at the wrong time and combine the above-mentioned second and third point. i say, this is the ultimate.

when one is down on his/her luck, things really get bad.

firstly, it doesn't rain a single bit when you continue to lay on bed in the morning. when you finally decide to get out of bed to do something constructive (like going for a swim), the heavens poured like it never poured before... twice!

secondly, lightning strikes and *poof* the lights in your apartment goes out, making you miss the interesting scene you're about to witness on the bleddy television.

thirdly, the McSpicy burger that u ordered has a chicken patty as flat and dry like a pancake.

when will things start to improve?? when this monsoon season ends? hAiz i hope not.. i want it to end earlier.... like when i wake up the next morning? pls..? thanks alot =)

just heard of the news that Joseph Barbera has passed away in California. he's been a great guy i must say. he brought us the world of animation with his works such as Tom & Jerry, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, and even Charlotte's Web.

thank you joseph, for bringing us so much of these entertainment works and especially my favourite Tom & Jerry. may you rest in peace.... goodbye.

i'm tired... seriously

i think something is wrong with me today. did i wake up from the wrong side of the bed or wad? maybe it was the dream that i had just before i woke up that affected my mood today. nvm. quite frankly i guess i wasn't in the best of moods today, hope i didn't spoil the fun today. just hope that nobody sensed my 'not-so-good' mood, just like the normal days when nobody cares about me haha... dunno just what the hell is wrong with me.

had a great time outside today though it was tiring. i guess i didn't have enough rest, must drink Yomeishu liao haa. kbox-ing with xiang & kim & rl @ cineleisure today but before that, had some neoprints taken @ heerens.


i guess it's been about 3-4 years since i last took neoprints?

went to visit zhenwei @ his espresso-machine-stall in takashimaya and i'm quite amazed by those cappucino-making machines. some of them are even automated, and it costs a bomb (although the bomb isn't as big as that of the furry handbag in Valentino which costs $7k+++ ?).

seems like tml is another 无所事事 day for me. i should really clear the mess in my room. the current state my room is in just irks me. hope i can clear it up before tml ends.

happening heartland mall

i was at kovan heartland mall, meeting a friend for dinner at this hongkong 兴旺 restaurant (i think that's the name, doesn't matter, not impt for now.) the food ain't that fantastic actually and it's too expensive for its quality. only their french toast is good, so you ppl shld go try it when u're free. didn't really wanted to eat there, but well, friend wants, so muz 舍命配君子, no no no, shld be 舍钱配君子 haha...

and there was this Ultraman performance going on in heartland mall for a few weeks now (they have so much stamina to perform for such a long period of time, my goodness) but when i was there, the amount of ppl gathering in front of the stage was like... wow... even before the show started. there were seriously people of all ages there, kids, teens (i'm still a teen :p), parents and grandparents!

i didn't manage to watch the performance cos of the dinner haha. but it feels good to be among the kids. reminds me of my kiddie days when i was so crazy about characters such as ultraman.

my bedroom is in a huge, wrong... humongous mess right now. i really don't know how i'm going to clear up this mess before the holidays end. wish me luck =)

it's beginning to feel alot like christmas

feeling quite happiE right now cos i got to watch a christmas carolling session going on when i went to hougang mall earlier this evening.

they sang many of my favourite christmas carols like feliz navidad, o'holy night etc etc etc.... too many to name lah. but they were not too bad at carolling. i got alot of videos taken of them carolling but it's a bad idea to upload them on youtube and here i think. firstly the quality of the videos aren't that fantastic. secondly, i gotta edit them before uploading, which takes up quite some time cos firstly i need to convert them to an edit-able version and then edit. but the former reason is the main reason why i don't want to do the editting lah.

but i can feel the christmas-ly atmosphere oredi while at hougang mall. can't imagine how much better it would be in town =)

2nd week of December almost gone =(

okay it's almost the end of one hectic week, but it spells the beginning of another hellish period ahead. gonna start work either on wednesday or friday and will be working everyday, and i really mean everyday, till the 2nd or 3rd of january. scary huh... but no choice. actually i'm more of in a dilemma, having to choose between what i like to do and to earn money.

this week has to be one of the most happening week during a holiday in my entire history (i.e. besides the chalet week last week). it's total madness. and i'm so tired out seriously haha but well, everybody is happiE, that's all that matters rite? had to handle hall matters followed by outings. first was dinner at clementi with xiang & kim on wednesday where we had the yummy stingray! it's really not bad i must say. next was steamboat dinner @ marina with xiang, kim, kelvin, ariyo, shuling, rl, weichaoz & brian... and it's this fateful night that left me with no choice but to buy a new pair of slippers from adidas =( but it's nice to wear lah.

next week, kbox again... faints haha... yeah kbox on monday followed by the start of work oredi.... no time to slack at all.

time to plan what i am going to do this weekend... sometimes i really wonder if i shld juz stay in hall where i seem to have more things to do. there is really nothing for me to do at home. or mebbe there are things for me to do, but i can't do it cos there's something else not done, such that i can't begin doing what i need to do.. faints i dunno wad i'm saying.

charlene quek!! 我要看 prison break!! i'm still stuck at the first season, episode 8. oh man, i really am slow. but i completed 7 episodes this week itself, quite a feat huh. 冲上云霄 on channel U is getting boring. i was first attracted to that show cos of my past ambition of becoming a pilot (not of a fighter jet though), but the show is entering the 'too lovey-dovey' phase already and it's getting abit too boring.

got hooked on the song 'More Than Words' suddenly this week, no not the one by Energy (i've nv liked them anyway). i'm referring to the one by Westlife and the version by Frankie J. and i keep waking up these mornings with that song in my head and kept singing it to myself and even the radio also played it. so shocking.

Sharp Aquos Advertisement

i super love this advertisement by SHARP...



it is way way much better than the TV Mobile advertisement lah! i think singapore needs more creative people to think of how to advertise products more creatively... the TV Mobile advertisement is the one whereby this guy plugs in an antenna into his laptop to tune in to TV Mobile, and girls are attracted to him because of they want to watch TV Mobile too? c'mon lah, who the hell watches TV Mobile when they're not on the bus. i believe there are some who don't even watch TV Mobile on the bus. they'd rather sleep...

i mean, the main point is not whether TV Mobile programmes are good or not... but that advertisement promoting TV Mobile really cannot make it. it's boring.

sleepy day

watching a Stay Home Saturday Movie on channel 5 right now... Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. it's about a free-roaming stallion which was captured by the U.S. Calvary who wanted to train it to become a warhorse. They were trying to break the stallion (break as in tame) but its "never say die" character earned it the respect of the U.S. officer who finally gave up trying to capture it after its multiple attempts to escape. Aided by this Red Indian, the stallion finally managed to regain its freedom and got itself a partner to spend its life with. Yeah, that's wad the show is about in a nutshell. I admit i'm quite touched after watching the show.


anyway, today has to be one of the worst days in my life. if you have watched "百万宝" on channel 8 during the weekdays, the character that cheng xi played, Lu, has this habit of falling sleep anytime anywhere... i seemed to have been infected with that disease today. most probably it's becos i did not sleep properly last night ba. so going out today was a nightmare, i kept falling aslp anytime anywhere, on the bus, on the train, in the restaurant etc... and i reached home early evening just to fall aslp on my bed till 8pm, having to eat dinner with cold dishes.

anyway i tell you everything (Swan, 2005), i ate at this indian restaurant this afternoon for lunch. the restaurant's name is The Banana Leaf Apolo, located in little india just beside Tekka Mall. this indian waiter served us and he was like trying to tell us what we can order and we were like staring at the menu trying to figure out what to order... so the ordering phase actually took a long time... i watched the waiter's facial expression, so i guess what was going thru our minds shld be something like:

us: what is this indian guy trying to tell us????
waiter: vat is this family thinking???

haha... anyway we ordered some really funny looking food, based on the waiter's recommendations.

oh oh and when i went to pay the bill, they had this white stuff there in a bowl wic can be eaten.. cos i saw the indian tourists eating it!! i would say they are analogous to the sweet which is given to us after a fish & co meal, except that, this indian stuff are very small in size, they look like coarse sand grains. so the indian tourist actually asked me if i wanted to try it haha... later i learnt that it was used to keep their teeth clean! no wonder indians have so clean teeth! cos that thing keeps teeth cleaner than colgate does!

ok, i dunno what else to do now, i've slept for so long. but i think i still can slp if i go lie on the bed right now haha. oh, and there's this plastic surgery programme on tv now, and there was this plastic surgeon who mentioned that he had a patient who wanted to look like an alien! cos she didn't wan to be human anymore. so she wanted a triangular head! goodness.... haha, but he couldn't do it... reason? he hadn't seen an alien before. -_- haahaa

alright nothing else to do, shall stone in front of the tv and see if anyone chats with me online... haha!

the tired mind wanders about

i'm very tired now since i cleared about one-quarter of my house today. and when i'm tired my mind starts to wander about and think abt many things.

okay, i'm upset but dunno why.... just suddenly feel that after doing so much, after helping out so much, you are forgotten. i know i shouldn't be feeling this way since i should be used to it.... it's okay to be an unsung hero sometimes... but i just feel like ranting everything out here. so ppl, after reading this, just erase it from ur memory. it's not really a big matter anyway.

i hate being a shadow to someone else. i've had enough and i'm freaking really sick of it. can't people treat me as if i'm a unique me? i am not someone who owes my living to a particular person or wad... i dun gif a damn about wad 有他才有我 kind of thing.

i think this holiday is a sucky one... or rather it would be a sucky one.

firstly i'm like regretting joining a particular committee. i so dunno why i got psycho-ed to join when i was like already 下定决心 not to join. damn it... big lesson learnt.

secondly, the relationships people share amonst each other, it's becoming too much for me to handle. kinship, friendship, or even one that u have towards someone really dear to u... (i'm not hinting anything here). i shan't elaborate much since i think it's becoming abit more of a private issue. but all i can say is that 人心难测. they dun give a hoot about how you feel once they have accomplished their motive. nvm i dunno wad i'm saying anymore either, so dun worry if u're confused by wad i'm typing. anyway this oso somehow leads back to the 'being someone else's shadow' issue. somehow...

thirdly, i had to worry for my first semester's result cos of an sms tat i received. it definitely has to be from someone who has first hand info abt our results obviously, and not any tom, dick or harry...

one-quarter of my holiday is almost over.... wad have i achieved? (the standard answer most ppl would give is 'nothing' haha...) ok let's see... i've achieved my well deserved break so far, by having gone to 2 chalets. haha...

eh somehow i think this entry is a garbage entry haha.. i oso dunno i've been typing, i realised.... but nvm, let's not waste the effort of my subconcious mind lol.... just publish. haha...

IHRG Othello

today marks the beginning of interhall recreational games once again.... and it started off with othello (and i just learnt that there's a slight slight difference betw othello and reversi haha)... hmm sad to say, we didn't make it through becos we didn't win enuff games =(

but still, it was a good game lah... cos i got to see how some people can really 反败为胜... it's really damn 神奇 one... and my proudest moment was when i won a hall 9 guy and the faces of the other hall 9 team members totally changed when they saw their teammate lost... that feeling was damn shiok haha cos i think hall 9 was like last year's runner up or champion for othello.

this year's IHRG shirt is way way way way way much better than last year's anyway.... goodness... who came up with last year's shirt? haha...

and dunno who tat time hor, go write so many names for IHRG, especially for othello lor... and in the end nobody is playing othello for the hall.... ended up only exactly 7 of us (5 players and 2 reserves)

... cos i had too much fun already, for like 4 days.

chalet @ costa sands (pasir ris) rocks man... although most of us went without slp for like almost 2 days. the company and activities were simply just great. and nobody had diarrhea after eating the bee hoon... that's good news! hahaha.

we bbq-ed the evening away and had a mini treasure hunt game organised for everyone except the organizers haha (of course, duh) and congrats to the winner who won away a pair of free movie tickets sponsored by us again.. of course. haha

and we mahjong-ed and bridge-ed the night away until it was almost like 5.30am and almost, ok everyone of us conked out... woke up the next morning like ard 7am? went for our yummy BK breakfast and went back to mahjong the morning away (with me being the banker for 5 rounds straight? WAHAHA).... told u all i'm good at mahjong liao. and i couldn't really believe my luck and this, roland can vouch for me.... i keep getting the tiles i want!! like wow...

2.30pm came finally and all of us gathered around the 3 available laptops getting ready for the stupid subject registration (and some kuku kop-ed my HW111 slot!! grrrr) haiz cheeken basket... at least i got to put my electives on the waitlist lah.

and the time came for us to leave for town for some dinner and kbox-ing! we kbox-ed till like 3am in the morning? i was almost already sleep-singing. oh and they had this promotion thingy going on where each of us gets to roll a dice... so it's like kbox staff vs each of us. so if ur dice score is higher than the staff's, you pay much lesser... so i tot my mahjong luck could help me. apparently it didn't. but nvm lah, we were supposed to leave at 12am, but they let us sing till 3am, unless got other customers coming (but who the hell comes so late? haha) so still vv worth it.

didn't sleep when we reached back the chalet, instead we all mahjong-ed and bridge-ed till it was 6.30am, and we headed for mac's breakfast at downtown east. and when we reached back again, most of us conked out. fell aslp at the main door -_-" but when i woke up, i wanted to climb back upstairs to slp on the bed but xiang and kim had to be on the bed!! arghhhh i ended up slping in there on the floor again.... =(

woke up to discover that almost everyone is out of the chalet oredi, preparing to go home. and only like kelvin, kim, xiang & me were left behind to clean up. so we packed up the place (of course we had to) and left the chalet and tat's the end of our chalet outing =( feels kinda sad that the days of fun had to pass so quickly.

and so the end of one chalet marks the beginning of the next chalet for me, as i walked down to costa sands (downtown east) for my family chalet... we jackpot-ed and won a lil' bit of $$$ haha... yeah just a lil'.... nth much really happened cos it was only my family in the chalet but it was a good family gathering still. dinner at the restaurant beside kfc was great and we had ben & jerry's after dinner!! the dublin mudslide is superbly, yummily delicious and i really like it alot! and at least i got to slp more this time.

and i finally got to eat my sashimi!!!! went with wei tzer and weibin to sakae sushi @ CPF building (the bldg opp. tanjong pagar mrt station) cos that's the only sakae outlet that has buffet lunch on saturdays... it was a satisfying lunch, considering that i had hall canteen food for like almost 1 month. and i rily enjoyed my mum's cooking last nite too man...

so excited about tml's chalet with the sexy family and the rest of the bs gang, and i have no idea why we're called sexy family.... why can't we call ourselves Happy Tree Friends?? violence is good mah hahaha.... and we can use that HTF ringtone on our handphones... anyway, u guys are evilllllll..... wan me to fry bee hoon, wan me to bring otah and satay.... nv provide me transport services blarz..... i'm gonna claim taxi fare from u all!! haha... and let u guys enjoy the bee hoon i fry bwahahaha.... hope u all get diarrhea bwahaha... *touch wood* (slap my own finger... anyhow type, later karma)

see the title? it says "HorLidayz..." it's the dayz of the Hor and the Li again! bwahaha.. ok lame.

ooh, i'm so happiE i survived year 2 semester 1, of cos with the help of gods from everywhere... now all i gotta do is wait for my results to come out. i'm full of anticipation for my results actually... even though i know i will screw up some of my papers. i think i'm mad, cos i like to receive results regardless of whether i'll be happy or sad after i see it. hope that B+es are maintained at least.... but shan't care about it now hehe...

so after more than 2 weeks in hall with intensive studying carried out in the function room of hall 12, i'm finally back home... with loads of stuffs, including last year's notes!! imagine how heavy my bag was. fortunately, there is something called taxi. not only is there taxi, there's something called book-a-cab!! wahaha, dun have to carry all the way to jurong point's taxi stand to get a cab.

these past weeks, studying in the function room, i've realised many many things. people from all places come to our hall to use our function room! hall 13's function room is so gloomy, not a vv nice place to be in i think.

there were people in there who are really deserved to be whacked upside down. i'm not saying that Singaporeans are very considerate or wad la, but those people, especially our friends from up north, they are the worst lot. next is followed by those from eh... down south (not very south lah, slightly above australia). firstly, they talk like they freaking never ever ever ever talked before in their lives in a place where people are studying. secondly, one of them clears his throat like he freaking never clears it before lah! nvm, shall let karma deal with them.

i am kind of starting to believe in karma now, cos i see things happening that made me believe in it. yeah.

within this period, i've observed that things u really hope would happen, it never happens at all. and things u never expected at all, it happens. haiz... nvm. always have a lower expectation of things, so that if it never happens, den it's oredi expected. if it happens, then i will take it as a bonus. and no, i'm not talking about the exams.

talking about exams, i really can't stand my biostatistics prof. i was just starting to like statistics after all the practices i did on my own, he had to give us a freaking tough paper with soooo little calculations involved. cheeken baaaasket....

hall 16's hall fellow is so friendly, i think he's the senior hall fellow cos he really looks like one. so much better than the one we have.

i'm soooo excited about this holiday even though it's a short one, esp for people like me who finished exams like only today. so many things planned out already! yipeeee..... dun care about any other thing else. can't be bothered.... bwahaha... i feel like there's so much things waiting for me to do, instead of just sitting in front of my laptop here typing away every single second, be it blogging, msn-ing, or e-mailing.... in short, i don't feel lost!! HAHAHA.... oops... :p
