eyedrop eyedrop eyedrop!!!

i overcame one of my greatest fear in life today!! ONE!! haha.. that means still have many many more lah... i'm not a very brave person in fact... so yah.. HAHA

oh as i was saying, that one fear i overcame today was putting eyedrop into my eyes! i was studying in Library 2 today with Anthony when he suddenly took out this 'BLINK' eyedrop thingy and he asked me to try. i hesitated at first cos i never ever fancied putting anything into my eyes (hence no contact lens)... anyway back to the point, so i was like trying to force my fingers to squeeze that tube above my eye, and wondering why the hell the drop just took forever to drip down. my brain tried sending signals to the nerve endings at my finger tips... the neurotransmitters were working hard, but somehow my fingers just didn't dare press the tube.

after quite some time, finally, the action potential finally managed to make its way to the nerve endings. and the subsynaptic receptors had made contact with the neurotransmitters!! my fingers finally squeezed the tube and the eyedrop went into my eye. (sorry to those non-bio students, i was juz talking in human physiology terms HAHA, actually i oso dunno if i am saying it correctly anot lei).

yeah but anyway, before the drip went in, the image of little mk (abt 5-6 yrs old?) standing in the kitchen with his mum there, trying to force his eye, which was sore, open so that she could squeeze the eyedrop in, appeared in front of me.... still remember that this little mk was so scared that he just closed his eye shut soooo tightly tat his mum took 20 mins to squeeze the eyedrop into his eye.

so anyway, i couldn't believe that i overcame the fear, so i tried again.... 3 more times in fact. hmm so i didn't waste my time at all today. overcame one fear! haha.

and i finally completed revising BS201 and BS202 as of this afternoon, and i even had time to read thru part of tml's lecture. hmm efficient rite....

anyway that's all for tonite lah... nth to blog abt anyway... back to journals...
