Post-orientation mood
Wow, 5 days just passed so quickly like that. On Monday morning, I was still dragging myself to NTU for my orientation camp, and now I'm back home already. Somehow, inside me, I still hope that this orientation didn't come to an end so soon. Although it was tiring to play games through the whole day till past midnight, they were fun enough to make us feel awake during the games.
I really don't regret going Exodus '05, which was the camp's theme this year. Made lots of new friends, getting to know the school surroundings better etc... And my Orientation Group was the best group among the 4 groups in the camp. I guess it was the camaraderie we developed with each other from the very first day. The seniors were outstanding too.
Apart from the usual few ice-breaking games played during orientations, we had a very fun initiation night and an outstanding Amazing Race. Except for the games played on the first day, we came in first place in the other subsequent games we played. However the Secret Pal dinner events were boring.
It's an orientation I feel it's different from the others I've been to. Definitely different. Having been to 2 JC orientations and being an OGL myself for 1 JC orientation, I can feel that this orientation is unique and it's so much more fun.
I'm not going to type much here for this post cos well there're too much things to type about if I were to type them in details. Basically, Exodus was a marvellous event and I'd like to thank the Committee for organizing such a fun week for us. On behalf of all freshmen of School of Biological Sciences, thank you all so much.
