Congrats China & Singapore

Congrats to our table-tennis female team for winning the Silver medal. And congrats to the China team for winning the Gold once again.

The hype for this end of the medal-draught for Singapore has finally ended with Singapore clinching the Silver award. And I must say my admiration for both Li Jia Wei and Zhang Yi Ning always increase by the thousands everytime I watch them play. I watched Zhang Yi Ning in the Athens Games, and tonight I watched her once again. She really deserves to be World No. 1, I feel. And for Li Jia Wei, although she always misses the points, I feel that she is still one of our better players. Feng Tianwei is really good too. I guess they just don't have the luck, most of the time.

It's really heart-warming to watch the China crowd cheering for the Singapore team as well during the match. And I loved what the commentator said at the end of the Victory Ceremony after the flags were raised:

"The 5 stars of China and the 5 stars of Singapore, looking down upon the young ladies representing them, and proud of their achievements."

On a side note, I totally admire Usain Bolt from Jamaica.... I wish I had those legs when I was in secondary school and JC. I could have won many races during the Annual Sports Meets. Haha. And congrats to Michael Phelps for having accomplished the 8 Gold medals dream and for being the best Olympian ever with 14 Gold medals to his name.
