Bank Acct. + $200 and some other randoms

Finally took my IPPT for my 3rd time already today. And I got silver again, as usual, haha but with an improved 2.4km timing!! Amazing, considering that I have never really trained ever since returning from exchange.

What was different from my usual IPPT was that I took it at Bedok Camp II at Upper East Coast Road this time round since I left from home. Used to take it at Maju Camp in Clementi since I used to go from Hall in the past.

Bumped into Christopher (Han) who was taking the test too. After catching up with him about life, I realised he does have the same childhood dream as I do... to fly for Singapore Airlines, and he is already planning to go apply for it! I wonder if I ever will make it there. Many people dared to pursue their dreams and passion, especially after I watched The UnXpected band performing twice already and looking at the performers who had so much passion for music and are doing quite well too.

Met someone else too, Terence (Lim Jun Xian). For those who don't know him, he's M3 from the 2007 Hall 12 Gala Grandeur Dinner & Dance. Surprised that I saw him there, cos I always thought that once we ORD, PTIs don't have to perform such annual IPPT duties anymore.

Bedok Camp II was very lively today, with many people there for different purposes. There were people like me going for the Non-ICT IPPT, there was the Commando ICT IPPT (I was so stressed for a moment cos I thought they were taking the test with me, fortunately they weren't), and then there were many many many small kids!! They were there for NDP rehearsal and the rehearsal was taking place concurrently with the 2.4km run at the running track! Luckily I finished my run before they started, pity those who took the 2.4km with subsequent batches. I watched the rehearsal for a while, and really pity those kids who have to keep re-doing the performance. Reminds me of my NDP days too 4 years ago. Time really flies.

Anyway congrats to Anthony who was taking IPPT at Maju Camp today too... and good luck to Adrian, Victor, and Colin who would be taking it later in the evening at Khatib Camp!

Enough of IPPT and Bedok Camp :) I was at T3 last week again to send off my grandmother and aunt who were leaving for Melbourne to look for my uncle & family.

I saw the two kids sleeping on the floor and I couldn't resist taking a shot of it! A family of 4 Australians on transit going towards Germany. The two kids were soooo tired that they just dozed off lying on the floor there. And the mum just went, "Yes, they're angels..... only when they're asleep." Haha... Adorable (the kids, not the mum =.=)

I don't know how to end off this entry, so I shall end it with a song video.

Today's my niece's first month celebration!! Didn't manage to attend her sister's the last time, so this time I made sure I could make it.

She's just so adorable 'cos she just smiles at ya when u tickle her and play with her chin.

*Chloe*

*I think I am 五叔 if count by number of cousins I have*

*I want to stretch*

*Now I want to sleep*

*Her face is the size of my palm minus my fingers*

*Jolin, Chloe's sister*

*got forced by Jolin to play her Mario Kart and pose for a shot*

Basically, the whole afternoon, I'm just busy entertaining Jolin and getting my cheek splattered with all her saliva when she kept talking so close to my face... urgh. The food was good with some catered food, KFC, and the otah that I have been craving for days!

Congrats 二表哥 and 二嫂.... 大表哥 and 三表哥 must 加油啊!!

The UnXpected

Another reason to look forward to Thursday nights....

*The UnXpected*

*Shirlyn, the band's main singer*

*She's really good and preeeetey of cos*

And the other band members too, totally love the way they "communicate" with each other and to the audiences with their guitars. Just way cool. I'm beginning to love Thursday nights.

Nice show and song. The characters in the show remind me of so many friends of mine.

My stomach caught a cold...

Damn, it's one of the rare times that I'm so seriously sick, seriously being body aching, and not feeling like doing anything at all. It all started from this early afternoon when I was working when suddenly I felt as if someone has casted voodoo magic on me. I was probably feeling about as comfortable as an elephant trying to act like a butterfly!

So I decided to leave for home and sleep. Didn't eat anything much (or rather, meaty) at all today, except for the salad that my sister made for me this morning, and a watermelon for lunch on the way out of school. Almost wanted to die on the MRT cos I was so energy-less.

Decided to try out the TCM clinic this time cos I wanted to know if my pulse was strong or weak, since my TCM schoolmates always say that my pulse was weak! But the doctor said otherwise lea. So I'm still young and dangerous eh? HAHA... Aiya, but the chinese medicine really taste horrendous. Yucks! So yeah, stomach flu was the diagnosis.... sian. What a wonderful start to my long weekend.

Something else for this entry, some old school feel - had lunch at Seoul Garden last week with JM, JY, and cheena juan... I think their meat improved alot, cos I rmb hating Seoul Garden as the food was sucky.

*Sichuan Chicken was the best*

*JM, JY, cheena juan, me*

Talking about sucky, em and xm came to school for lunch with me at NTU's executive cafe! The food is... simply horrible. Urgh, only the mango pudding and congee can make it. Even their Chinese tea tasted weird!

Okay, I think I feel like puking again, and my body temperature seems to be rising non-stop. I think I can just eat a raw egg and it'll be cooked inside me!

Random Memories...

It has been quite a happening and busy last 2 weeks in Hall, with all the drinking sessions, the mahjong games, steamboats, movie etc, since everyone is already packing up, or rather has already packed up, and left Hall by now.

As for me, I have also vacated my room (partly cos it's getting too expensive already), and the unpacking at home is really madness. For the 3rd time, that same sucky feeling of leaving a place which I've become so attached to came when I returned my keys to the Hall Office. First time, it was having to leave Hall 12. Then came leaving Sweden. And now leaving Hall 16 for the holidays. I guess the 4th time would be inevitable, i.e. if I still can get a room next semester, upon graduation next year.

These few days, staying at home gives me headaches, and I don't know why. I guess I'm just not used to staying home all day after all. Work begins next week, and I just got my concession pass for the very first time today since I am not staying in Hall anymore for the vacation HAHA...

Random pictures up next....

So much for the good memories that will live in us...

Back in SBS, I just attended the SBS Poster Day, in which all FYP students have to exhibit their research posters and would be graded by examiners who will ask questions about their FYP projects. Kinda scary when you really think about it. I guess Ant was right after all, if u really think about it, time flies and it will be my turn at the Poster Day in no time at all. Good luck to all of us for our final year in NTU!
